Bean Breads and Brownies

Bean Breads are high protein breads, moist, flavor filled, and great for toasting or warmed in the microwave, they have about 23 grams protein per serving size, about 2 slices of about 1/2 or less inch.  There is baking soda in the recipes and no they do not cause gas in your belly.

These stay in your fridge for a long time.  Bake them and keep them in the fridge or freezer.  Try slicing them and freezing the slices to take out when you want to eat them, moist enough to use for desserts and high protein enough to give you a good solid form of energy.

Basic dried beans are soaked over night in cold water, dried then pureed, use the recipe liquid when you do this step like all the eggs or egg substitute.  Your blender won't make it past short bursts and it takes forever to do it dry.  Save your time and follow the recipes exactly.

I omit salt, since I still use commercial foods in my diet.  They have salt that should be watched carefully in your diet.  Sea Salt is not 'salt-free' it's just counted in the your daily salt as regular table salt.  It did not make a difference in the outcome of the recipes.

You can used canned beans, most of the recipes I saw online did this, it saves time, just drain them and rinse them well so the salt comes off them
